Job Description

Duties:
Responsible for performing all distribution center activities related to the receipt put-away picking staging and delivery of supplies and equipment for the entire health system. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: -One - three years of warehousing or distribution experience in a computerized environment is required. Data entry and PC experience is required. -High School diploma or GED is required. -Able to use equipment commonly associated with warehouse shipping and receiving i.e. fork lifts/trucks order pickers pallet jacks wheeled hand trucks dollies balers and IT equipment such as RF devices computers printers and copy machines. -State of Wisconsin Drivers License is preferred. JOB STANDARDS: RECEIVING: Receives deliveries for medical products and equipment verifying deliveries against freight bills packing slips and purchase order/receiving documents bringing exceptions to the attention of the appropriate lead manager or buyer as appropriate. -Unpacks and inspects all delivered materials for possible damage cleanliness sterility expiration dates lot numbers and product integrity initiating appropriate follow up action as necessary. -In accordance with established policies and procedures completes all required receiving documentation including; filing of appropriate paperwork staging and labeling of products for put-away or external delivery and assignment of property tags for capital related equipment. FULFILLMENT: Fulfills orders received from customer facilities to include picking packing sorting staging and labeling of orders for delivery. -Properly packs labels and ships all materials and equipment that must be shipped out through common carriers such as UPS or FedEx. DELIVERY: Arranges for timely delivery services to customer facilities through the use of company vehicles or third-party couriers. -In accordance with established policies and procedures my maintain delivery logs to verify customer acceptance of delivered materials and equipment. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Receives inquiries from customers buyers cohorts and others providing assistance as needed. EQUIPMENT: Assures all warehouse equipment hardware machines delivery vehicles etc. remain clean and in good working condition through proper use routine inspections and general maintenance reporting any issues to the appropriate lead coordinator or manager. -Maintains a safe working environment by attending distribution center equipment training programs and adhering to safe equipment use practices. INVENTORY CONTROL: Maintains accurate inventory levels and product integrity through the proper issuing and crediting of supplies participation in established inventory cycle-count programs and stock rotation practices per established policies and procedures. -Assists with the storage and disposal of equipment and records as directed. -Processes daily returns of inventory received from user sites per established policies and procedures. ENVIRONMENT: Maintains a secure environment through the continued monitoring of authorized and unauthorized staff in the distribution center reporting any concerns or issues to security or leadership. -Helps maintain a clean and orderly distribution center environment through routine and on-going maintenance activities to include but not limited to; rubbish removal floor sweeping/scrubbing bin/racking label maintenance bin/ tote cleaning and routine dusting. OPERATIONS: Monitors all Distribution Center operations to include potential safety concerns quality issues or workflow inefficiencies taking corrective actions and notifying leadership or others as necessary.
