Job Description
This position is responsible for screening orders, research and review of prescription overrides, accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting and entering prescriptions into the computer system in a timely fashion, and/o thinking through and solving escalated prescription issues. Through your skills and knowledge, you will offer solutions needed to help simplify the customer health care experience. Areas of focus for Pharmacy Technicians may include outbound calls, inbound calls, entering patient and prescription information into our system, and faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. To help support development and maximize workflow, you will be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required. This is a work from home position.

Required Qualifications
Must have an Idaho Technician Registration or an Idaho Tech in Training Registration. Must have a minimum of 3 months experience as a pharmacy technician.

Preferred Qualifications
6 months or more as a pharmacy technician, 6 months or more experience in customer service and/or call center experience.

Education
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
