The Medical Assistant provides services for our residents and members. This is a part time opportunity on our day shift for the Siena location at 5635 Erie Street, Racine, WI 53402
Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:
Schedules, records, tracks and notifies members of appointments, as assigned. Arranges transportation, and escorts members to appointments, as needed.
Tracks various laboratory skills and procedures.
Performs routine clinical skills and tasks including but not limited to phlebotomy, blood glucose checks, oxygen checks, vital signs, weights, charting information and stocking clinic areas.
Medical Assistant Job Requirements:
- Education: College Diploma in Medical Assisting, or a minimum of 1 year of experience in a direct care or administrative support role in a clinic or geriatric health care setting may be substituted.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of personal or employment experience providing care or services for adults with disabilities and the elderly population. Proficient in performing blood draws
- Licensure: Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
Medical Assistant Job Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
32 hours a week
