Job Description
Imagine yourself working with this team… The Occupational Health Clinic in Waukesha is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to work in our highly collaborative and leading edge environment.
Due to our commitment to shared governance and shared decision-making, our Physician Assistants work alongside physicians and are intimately involved with problem solving and decision-making. They perform history and physical examinations on new and return patients. Establish presumptive diagnosis, establish the general work-up of the patient by ordering appropriate laboratory studies and are responsible, under a physician's supervision, for the management of the patient's problems following diagnosis. Imagine yourself… Providing primary health care services to individuals and their families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic problems, under the supervision of a licensed physician.
Working autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems.
Serving as a health care resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.

Skills / Requirements
General Qualifications
Current Physician Assistant license granted by the State of Wisconsin. Current certification as a physician Assistant granted by the National Commission on Certification of Physician
Assistants (NDDPA). Current registration with the Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA) for administering and prescribing controlled substances. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers certification granted by the
American Heart Association.
Demonstrated ability to work as an
effective member of a health care team.
Desired Qualifications
Excellend oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with
and establish/build relationships with other. Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
