Job Description

Imagine Yourself...


*Providing basic patient care in the clinical setting under the daily direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

*Performing delegated tasks in the patient care setting that support the environment of patient care.

*Performing clerical and system coordination for the nursing unit.

*Transcribing orders and scheduling diagnostic and therapeutic services.

*Coordinating nursing unit communications and activities

*Acting as a receptionist, greeting and or directing patients, visitors, physicians and other health care providers.

General Qualifications

*High school diploma or equivalent.

*Current registration as a Nurse Aide as granted by the State of Wisconsin.

*Good interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to interruptions and changing priorities/workloads.

*High level of attention to detail essential.


Desired Qualifications

*Medical terminology and keyboarding/word processing skills strongly preferred.

*Minimum of six months continuous experience in an acute care setting is desired.
