Job Description

*Performing cleaning and related services in patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas.

*Maintaining a well-groomed appearance in all areas.

*Performing all tasks as an Environmental Assistant I and, in addition, training and coordinating job duties of Environmental Assistant I staff as necessary.

General Qualifications

*High school education or equivalent.

*Past experience in medical cleaning.

*Minimum one year experience as an environmental services worker.

*Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions along with the ability to work alone and to understand the physical arrangements of the clinic.

*Ability to perform tasks with due consideration for doctors, nurses, patients, public, and other staff.

*Requires that incumbent will use initiative for cleaning tasks, be able to set priorities, and be aware of and follow department policies and procedures in all situations.
