We are currently seeking dedicated Customer Service Representatives who are enthusiastic about providing exceptional patient care. The ideal individual will have outstanding clinical and customer service skills. The CSR provides the first point of contact for our customers when they enter the clinic, duties include: Greets and registers the customer. Completes all necessary forms. Obtains demographic and insurance information from the customer; collects customer co-payment and posts payments. Collects customer co-payment and posts payments. Adds or updates customer file information on-line. Responsible for patient check-in. Assists patients in completing all necessary forms. Obtains demographic and insurance information for customers. Verifies insurance coverage, collects co-pays, deductibles, and previous balances Posts payments and updates on-line all registration and insurance information as necessary. Updates registration and enters charges for non-clinic patients. Schedules patients in the Physician Practice Management System and follows office scheduling policies. Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages. Responds to routine requests for information. We currently have a variety of CSR opportunities available throughout the Waukesha Area. General Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of experience using mainframe or personal computer applications including Microsoft Office & Windows applications is required. One year of experience working in a medical environment including an understanding of medical terminology and the medical insurance process is preferred. One year of previous customer service and/or receptionist experience, including both direct customer contact, and contact via telephone is required. Must have the ability to speak clearly and concisely. Experience using basic office equipment, i.e., fax machine, 10-key calculator and copy machine is preferred. Must have the ability to sort and file materials correctly by alpha/numeric system. Must have the ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions.
