Jobing Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesu Generate and qualify sales leads through a variety of channels; primarily through cold calling u Set up detailed product demonstrations for the executive sales team u Qualify sales leads from direct marketing campaigns, trade shows, referrals and other sources u Engage in effective prospect questioning with an emphasis on value-based selling u Accurately track daily activity and prospect information in Contact Management System u Participate in regional trade shows, partner events, and national conferences when needed
Other Dutiesu Maintain comprehensive knowledge of application software capabilities, functionality, and use u Create, develop, and implement various calling scripts and targeted campaigns to generate sales leads u Effectively gather and communicate market information to company executives on an ongoing basis u Maintain detailed records and metrics of daily and monthly call activity for future analysis u Provide additional lead generation and call support to the sales team as needed
Requirementsu Must possess strong organizational skills u Must be highly driven, a self-motivator, with a clear desire to excel u Must be a highly effective communicator; both verbally and in writing u Must be a team player that possesses the ability to work independently u Must possess an outstanding work ethic u Must be effective at multi-tasking and prioritizing u Must demonstrate ability to work well under pressure u Must possess a strong attention to detail
Qualificationsu 4-year Bachelor's degree and / or extensive experience in a related field u A minimum 2 years experience working in a lead generation specific cold-calling sales environment u High level understanding of the financial services industry with mortgage banking experience a plus Must possess excellent computer skills and technical aptitude
