Job: Member Service Represenative - SW 111309

-Ensure that daily care of members is first priority.
-Collaborate with all center staff to ensure service excellence and timely follow up to all member questions and/or complaints. Must also to respond to issues by phone.
-Assist in selling memberships and programs by engaging in conversations on the benefits of YMCA memberships and programs; in person and over the phone.
-Accurately process new memberships and program registrations including cash transactions and maintenance of member records.
-Meet and exceed membership sales, satisfaction and retention goals.
-Practices strong fiscal stewardship adhering to membership and financial policies and procedures.
-Adhere to the safety policies and procedures set for the Center and the Association.

-High school diploma and/or equivalent relevant work experience preferred.
-Must be accurate in cash handling and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
-Must be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and effective conflict resolution skills.
-Competency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-Friendly disposition and knowledge of excellent customer service practices.
-Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
-Required to complete YU Online Tutorials within 14 days of hire and YU Staff Orientation within 30 days of hire.
