This position is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Intel based technical infrastructure for Froedtert Community Health's Information Systems. This infrastructure primarily includes server and storage hardware, MS Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, Citrix, VM Ware, and many other Windows-based applications. This position may also have responsibility for the installation and support of clinical and small business applications directly supporting end-user departments. The Senior Systems Administrator works closely with the Wintel Supervisor to ensure that the server infrastructure delivers at a service level consistent with organizational risk, information access requirements, and business strategies. Position works to improve or maintain a high level of system performance and availability through the implementation of sound server technologies and consistent use of IT best practices.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information system, or related technology field preferred or acquired through combination of education and experience.
• Requires five or more years of relevant Intel based systems administration experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting. Possesses solid project management capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge and skills in TCP/IP, Active Directory, Exchange, VM Ware, Citrix, Windows operating systems, server, desktop, network and storage technologies.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills in communications with all levels of hospital personnel, vendors and IT personnel.
• Must be proficient with documenting procedures and following documentation standards.
• Requires the ability to plan and lead projects, and meet project deadlines.
•Must be able to train others quickly and thoroughly on key IT concepts
• Must possess a strong work ethic and be flexible
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities
• Must be a fast learner with a high initiative
