On Call?:

To assess patient financial needs, assist patients and collect deposits according to the Froedtert Hospital Credit and Collection Policy in a professional, courteous and progressive manner. To stress customer service and positive interpersonal relations while working closely with Admitting/Registration, Social Services, Case Management, and Patient Financial Services in addressing financial responsibilities.

College degree preferred or high school diploma (equivalent) with equivalent work experience. 3 years of progressive customer service experience or 2-3 years of hospital patient accounting experience as a financial counselor, collector, registrar, or customer service related capacity preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience with computerized patient accounting systems and eligibility systems. Excellent organizational skills and commitment to detail 1 year experience billing of medical care/service (or general office experience).
