Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree 2 - 3 years experience in Corporate Treasury function or equivalent Other Information SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: FUNDING - Assist in the management of the overnight funding position. - Develop an understanding of the Fed Fund and Eurodollar market, its participants and their roles. - Develop understanding of Global Trader as both an input system and management information reporting system. - Assist in dissemination of internal pricing. - Track the movement of expected funds via the wire system. - Develop an understanding of the term market and become efficient in utilizing and pricing products such as institutional CDs, Term Feds and Euros, Commercial Paper etc against key benchmarks such as LIBOR and the Swap curve. - Develop working knowledge of structured notes and related products, including channels of distribution, pricing and settlement. - Have a thorough understanding of liquidity policy and the acceptable liquidity parameters within which we operate when formulating funding strategies. - Have a full understanding of the Corporations Contingency Funding Plan and its various elements and be prepared to institute the plan, including the Disaster Recovery Plan, should such events occur. - Be familiar with documented procedures and further document any new processes. - Manage the funding of conduit and follow conditions of issuance and reporting requirements. - Analyze, evaluate and manage collateral position and deployment as it relates to public funds, discount Window, TT&L, FHLB, Repurchase Agreements, CSAs, etc. - Utilize Bloomberg and Reuters for retrieval of market information. DERIVATIVE EXECUTION - Develop a working knowledge of Interest Rate Swaps, Basis Swaps, Futures, Options and Forward Rate agreements and combinations thereof. - Monitor effective duration of callable note portfolio. - Develop understanding of Derivative Solutions. - Use derivative dealers to assist in pricing of funding products and product development initiatives. - Understand derivative credit limits and ensure exposure to only approved counterparties. - Follow derivative documentation and settlement process to ensure proper accounting treatment. - Develop and maintain backup strategy for processes. LIQUIDITY ANALYSIS - Assist in the monthly preparation of the Funding & Liquidity Report. - Measure and report liquidity ratios for each entity as require and report exceptions. - Assist in data collection and documentation of the liquidity limits and liquidity forecast models. - Develop working knowledge of Report Edge as an analytical tool. - Utilize Hyperion system for analysis of General Ledger accounts and reporting - Utilize Sunguard (Investment) system for analysis of collateral positions. - Other duties assigned as needed. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor¿s degree required, with concentrations in either Finance, Accounting, or Economics - Level II requires 3-4 years experience in banking, financial services, or a related field, or equivalent capacity/efficiency/productivity. - Experience using a personal computer with emphasis on Microsoft Office products - Understanding of basic finance concepts such as price/yield, duration, and present and future value, risk and reward - Ability to delve into the details and work with high degree of accuracy. - Able t This job posting is no longer available on Jobing.com.
