Responsibilities:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Plan, organize, direct and control a medium sized segment of the operating functions of the company. Responsible for the performance of two to four departments and related activities. Incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing and administering corporate policies and procedures relative to area under his/her authority.

·4-5 years proven experience in an administrative operations environment

This mid-level management position overseas the day to day operation of the M&I Retail Residential Loan Processing and Closing Departments in Cedarburg, WI.&

Annual Volume: 15,000 Units.

Manages: 4 Regional Processing Team Leaders with 27 Processors
1 Closing Department Manager with 6 closers and 2 support staff
4 Team Assistants

SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

-Work as an advocate and a liaison between District Managers, Mortgage Bankers and Processing and closing departments.
-Monitor Team Leader attendance and performance reviews
-Attend weekly Product Operations meetings as a representative and review bulletins
-Represent Team Leader concerns at weekly Management meetings
-Develop and manage corporate production projects and programs that support the goals and mission of the corporate production team
-Work collaboratively with senior management and the corporate and regional managers in the development and administration of the strategic plan
-Develop and monitor performance based metrics.
-Assist with budgeting, internal communication and developing and leading department wide processes and procedures
-Regulate and manage compliance guidelines within Operations Department.
-Conduct monthly coordinator meetings to discuss procedure changes and management initiatives
-Handle annual risk assessment project
-Create and monitor uniform procedures within Production Dept.
-Responsible for overall performance of Production Dept. staff& which consists of Coordinators,Team Leaders and Team Assistants
-Demonstrate ability to lead Production Dept. to achieve corporate goals and initiatives
-Works with UW Manager to document and process unmarketable loans

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree
10+ years Mortgage Processing and Closing Experience, including GSE/Govt. lending.
Proficiency in FHA lending and funding regulations.
Proven Leadership skills and ability to manage a large and dynamic environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Managerial experience.
