Job ID: 927495 Location: , WI Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Responsibilities: PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Economic Capital Manager is a key member of the Corporate Finance Division responsible for the development, enhancement, analysis, reporting and management of all aspects of economic capital adequacy and allocation that affect Marshall & Ilsley Corporation.& Skills / Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (finance, statistics or math) 8 + years professional related work experience Other Information SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: -Develops the Corporation's internal capital adequacy assessment for Basel II, including the capital adequacy and allocation requirements. -Participates in the quantitative analytical processes for credit risk. -Ensures regular production of analytical work and reports. -Ensures that capital modeling and allocation approaches meet both internal corporate needs and regulatory requirements related to Basel I and II. -Works with project management team to track development efforts and resolve issues. -Create a capital model and revision of& existing model to form a comprehensive plan that details how to ensure capital adequacy -Support the creation, development and validation of& a capital plan that documents triggers, limits, contingency plans and sources/uses of capital -Develop a view of prospective regulatory capital under Basel II guidelines -Responsible for the formulation of Internal Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) -Other duties assigned as needed. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced Degree (finance, statistics or math) 8 + years professional related work experience QRM software experience a plus ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: -Basel II expertise - specifically with respect to Pillar 2 / ICAAP -Understanding of technology solutions for credit risk measurement and the Basel II framework for credit risk. -Strong conceptual and technical knowledge of credit risk concepts and quantitative modeling techniques. -Prior leadership role in a credit risk measurement/analysis capacity -Prior experience with Regulatory and Economic Capital processes & allocation methodology -Understanding of Stress Testing and Scenario Analysis -Exceptional quantitative modeling and analytical skills -Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to explain complex matters to multiple constituencies -Comfortable in dealing with ambiguous topics -Strong financial modeling skills and knowledge -Experienced in driving process change This job posting is no longer available on Jobing.com.
