Responsibilities:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The purpose of this position is to participate in a twelve-month program to prepare the incumbent for a career in Community Banking.& The trainee will learn the M&I sales process and retail products, how to build and develop customer relationships with the tools that M&I provides, and how to develop Critical Linkages® partners to enhance the overall success of M&I Bank. Based on satisfactory performance and reviews throughout the program and successful completion of the requirements of the program, the trainee will have permanent placement as a Personal Banker II.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business or Liberal Arts
GPA: minimum of 3.0

The Community Banking Development Program will give you the skills and tools you need to help retail banking customers¿ reach their financial goals.& As a Community Banking Trainee, you will be part of an intense, hands-on 12-month development program to prepare you for a successful career in Retail Banking as a high-potential Personal Banker.

Training
The first 3 months of the program provides you with a foundation of M&I¿s sales process and an introduction to the company.& This phase exposes you to several branch roles including Customer Service Representative, Personal Banker, Preferred Banker, and Branch Manager.&

The next 9 months of the program allow you to experience the Personal Banking role within various M&I branches to gain an understanding of different markets and to build relationships with other business-line partners.
