Job Description:
TCF Bank, the leader in convenience banking, currently has an immediate opening for an entry level Sales Associate at our 35th & North Avenue location (inside Pick N Save). The minimum starting pay for this entry level position is $8.32 (pay increases with experience in cash handling/customer service/sales) and an opportunity to earn a monthly sales incentive.

As a Sales Associate you will:

• Aggressively promote, sell, and refer TCF products and services.
• Answer inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts and other bank related products.
• Initiate and open new accounts while providing appropriate information on regulations and policies.
• Accurately process, verify, and key all transactions in a manner, which maintains TCF standards and high level of customer service.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months cash handling and/or sales experience at one employer.
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills and deal with a variety of different customers and issues.
• Must be able to perform necessary calculations and count money.
• Must be willing to approach potential customers and promote TCF products and services.
