Job Description

*Working in a 38-bed Emergency Department, serving over 65,000 patients annually

*Providing care in an emergency setting that is certified as both a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center

*Being in a team environment and collaborating with multiple disciplines

*Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and advanced technology at the bedside

* Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center
*Performing the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic, quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

*Collaborating with physicians and ancillary staff to provide the best patient care

*Completing Point-of-Care testing with all qualifying patients to meet CME measures

*Communicating & educating the patient and family upon discharge or hospital admittance

General Qualifications

*Wisconsin Registered Nurse Licensure or eligibility is REQUIRED

*BLS and ACLS are REQUIRED ; certification is available


Desired Qualifications

*Previous nursing experience is preferred

*PALS and TNCC are preferred
