Patient Care Management

Job Description

Assist two Otolaryngologists in office and possibly as surgical first assist in ENT cases. Will be responsible for seeing patients independently (with Physician oversight) in the office.Performs history and physical examinations on new and return patients. Establishes presumptive diagnosis, establishes the general work-up of the patient by ordering appropriate laboratory studies and is responsible, under a physician's supervision, for the management of the patient's problems following diagnosis. This is a temporary position with an approximate duration of one year.


Skills / Requirements
General Qualifications

Current Physician Assistant license granted by the State of Wisconsin - Wisconsin Medical Examining Board.

Current certification as a Physician Assistant granted by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Current registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for administering / prescribing controlled substances.

Current certification in cardiac life support (BLS or ACLS).

Ability to work as a member of a health care team.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.

Desired Qualifications

ENT experience. Surgical First assist experience.
