Job Description

The OB/GYN clinic within the Aurora Health Center in Kenosha is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide quality, patient centered care. Due to our commitment to shared governance and shared decision-making the Nurse Practitioner assists in the delivery of health care services and is responsible for the patient assessment, interpretation, diagnosis, and prescribing of appropriate medical and nursing therapeutic measures. Imagine yourself… Eliciting a personal medical history, performing physical exam, and assessing and determining differential diagnosis. Prescribing accordingly.
Consulting with physician as appropriate.
Instructing and counseling patients on physical/mental health including, but not limited to, diet, preventive health measures, disease, treatment, and normal growth and development.

Independently performing evaluation and treatment procedures necessary to provide an appropriate response to life-threatening emergency situations.

General Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and licensure in the State of Wisconin as an RN and an APNP (advance practice nurse prescriber). Expertise in Women's Health/OB/Gyn.

Desired Qualifications

2 years previous experience in OB/Gyn or women's health strongly preferred.
