General Qualifications
Working at Aurora Health Care in the South Region. Imagine yourself *Performing clinical laboratory testing of biological specimens in any/all specialty areas using manual or automated techniques. *Using independent judgment and cognitive skills to develop data, which may be used by the physician in determining the presence and extent of disease. *Obtaining specimens from patients for laboratory analysis. Desired Qualifications *Medical Technologist - Bachelors degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology or other appropriate related field required. *Medical Laboratory Technician - Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. *Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the National *Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel, or other appropriate certifying agency within one year of employment. *Excellent customer service skills and verbal and written communication skills essential. *Good computer data entry and phlebotomy skills.
