As Manager of Patient Clinic Operations imagine yourself


*Directs the day-to-day activities of the staff at the clinic, ensuring a high level of productivity. Continually monitors the functioning of the clinic and revises operations as needed.


*Responsible for efficient systems, which provide quality patient services and overall patient satisfaction throughout the clinic.


*Responsible for resolving any patient concerns.


*Responsible for all physician relations to include practice management, orientation and follow up support.


*Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with physicians. Responds to physician concerns and provides problem resolution as appropriate.


*Determines physical maintenance and equipment needs and repairs.


*Resolves problems relating to the facility on a day-to-day basis.


*Participates in the development of a marketing plan and ensures its efficient implementation and evaluation as needed.


*Responsible for developing and submitting the annual budgets (operating and capital), and for operating within those budgets.


*Clearly defines assignments and responsibilities and implements orientation process for staff so that they know what is expected of them, when it is expected and how the results are to be accomplished.


*Develops and implements a system to ensure that established policies, goals and objectives are achieved.


*Maintains current knowledge of applicable local, state and federal codes and regulations and ensures compliance.


*Performs human resource responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, salary adjustments, resolution of employee concerns, disciplinary counseling, terminations, and employee morale.


*Acts as a liaison to community business and civic leaders that will involve evening and weekend commitments.


*Participates in the accreditation process.


*Responsible for identifying medical needs in the community.



Skills / Requirements
General Qualifications

*Knowledge of health care administration, business administration or other related field, equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regionally accredited bachelor's degree program.

*Knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform this job are typically acquired through a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in a health care facility that includes experiences and knowledge of medical practice and clinic management, clinic operational structure systems and clinic policies, procedures and processes. Leadership experience should include management of staff and budgets at the Manager level.

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

*Excellent public relations skills.

*The ability to successfully and positively interact with physicians is essential.
