Job Description

Job consists of, but not limited to the following; Running of electrical equipment to clean patient and nonpatient areas. Must have experience using floor care equipment to scrub and wax hard surface floors. Position also includes cleaning carpets, walls, ceilings and light fixtures, also the moving of furniture and various other cleaning tasks.

General Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent strongly preferred. Minimum of three to six months' experience as an Environmental Assistant I or demonstrated understanding of hard floor and carpet maintenance. Ability to read and understand written and oral communication is required. Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel to complete tasks. Must be able to lift 75lbs. and push/pull equipment up to 500 lbs. Must have the ability to walk and stand the majority of the shift. The ability to perform responsibilities in a self-directed environment and excellent customer service skills are essential.
