Imagine Yourself...

Overseeing the day to day activities of the assigned areas of responsibility within assigned clinic(s) ensuring a high level of productivity. This includes the Northern Illinois, Kenosha, and Racine patient markets.

Continually monitoring the functioning of the clinics and recommends revisions of operations as needed.

Having Responsibilty for the management of efficient systems that provide for quality patient services and overall patient satisfaction. Also, responsibility for resolution of any patient concerns that are not resolved at the department level.

Overseeing assigned functions of the clinic(s), which could include nursing, scheduling, billing, accounts receivable, patient records, telecommunications, transcription, radiology, and laboratory services. Serving as a liaison to Corporate/System departments that provide these services.

Performing human resource responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, salary adjustments, resolution of employee concerns, disciplinary counseling, terminations, and employee morale.

Establishing and maintaining effective communications and working relationships with physicians. Responding to physician concerns and providing problem resolution as appropriate.

Reviewing and recommending capital equipment and facilities requests.

Having responsibility for, and leasing and/or renting of, office space and responding to concerns of tenants, if applicable.

Providing input into the annual (operating and capital) budget with input from specific site leadership. The incumbent is also responsible for operating within those budgets.

Developing and implementing a system to ensure that established policies, goals, and objectives are achieved.

Maintaining current knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal codes and regulations and ensures compliance with these codes and regulations.


Skills / Requirements
General Qualifications

*Knowledge of business or health care administration or other related field equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regionally accredited bachelor's degree program.

*Knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform this job are typically acquired through seven years of progressively responsible experience in a health care facility that includes experiences and knowledge of medical practice and clinic management, clinic operational structure systems and clinic policies, procedures and processes. Leadership experience should include management of staff and budgets at the manager level.

*Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

*Exceptional interpersonal and public relations skills.

*Excellent organization, prioritization, project management and team building skills.

*Demonstrated ability to successfully and positively interact with physicians is essential.

*Proficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office Suite or similar products, electronic mail and electronic medical records and/or physician practice management systems.
