Position Summary:
Supervise and mentor technical team members. Design and implement server technology and solutions. analyze and manages performace activites. Works with development and application owners to define system requirements and resolve problems. Manages small to large projects. Act as the primary organizational interface with vendors and provides internal analysis and support. Manages the performance of multiple hardware and software platform interfaces at the most complex level. Primary Responsibilities: · Plans, coordinates, and supervises large assignments or projects. This position is involved in problem identification and resolution. · Applies advanced principles, theories and concepts; contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. · Plans, designs and implements system architecture and security; data integrity/recovery, disaster recovery planning, contingency planning, research & development. · Establishes technical priorities, standards, and procedures. Ensures sufficient systems capacity for organizational needs. · Arranges and administers security measures to meet PCI requirements and best practices. · Analyzes products and recommends use of new products and services to senior management. · Supervises exempt and non-exempt technical personnel to include human resource management. · Regularly provides technical guidance to other professionals. · Provides input to and adherence to capital and expense budgets. Skills / Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
· Expert in customization and use of monitoring tools and software. · Comprehensive knowledge of the server field including hardware and software. · Detailed understanding of VMware technologies · Recognized as an expert in the field. · Outstanding leadership abilities; able to coordinate and direct all phases of project-based efforts while managing, motivating and leading project teams. · Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
