Job Title Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Stereotactic Radiasurgery Building Code SL-Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center Address 2900 W Oklahoma Ave City Milwaukee # Hours Per Pay Period (Bi-weekly) 80 Schedule Flexible hours between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Req # (optional) 62000BR Explore a Career In Radiation Oncology Job Description The Radiation Oncology department at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with Stereotactic Radiasurgery (SRS) ie Gamma Knife and Cyber Knife. The incumbent will work closely with the physicians to follow up with patients post-treatment in a clinic setting, will provide some inpatient follow up to patients, will initiate progrommatic initiatives within quality management, be a liaison with the surgeons and also possibly be trained to assist in utilizing the contouring software for tumor treatment. Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems. Serves as a health care resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate. Skills / Requirements
General Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and appropriate licensure in the state of Wisconsin. Desired Qualifications Previous experience in oncology strongly preferred. 1-2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant strongly preferred.
