Responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day functioning of a reliable, patient centered process in the Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) areas. The processes in PAT prepare patients and their requisite documentation for surgery and procedures. The Manager of PAT is accountable for the scope of processes that link the clinic to the Day Surgery area or other intake area for surgery and procedures. The volume of potential patients is about 9,000 per year. The effective flow of patients through PAT is critical to the OR and procedural areas starting on time and to a quality anesthesia assessment.

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a program at an accredited School of Nursing. BSN perferred. Current Wisconsin licensure as a Registered Nurse. Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with various hospital personnel when gathering and exchanging information, and with subordinates in providing effective leadership. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for up to 80% of work time. Minimum of 3 to 5 years progressively more responsible related work experience. Previous management experience 3 to 5 years preferred.
