In a tertiary care academic medical center with level 1 trauma center status, provides administrative leadership for the department of surgical services including preadmission testing, 29 operating room suites, post anesthesia care units, anesthesia (technical support and CRNA's), day surgery east and west, and materials processing. These areas generate $70 million in revenue annually.

Knowledge of nursing theory, practice and management to oversee planning and implementation of patient care within a patient care area(s), and prepare reports, analyses, policies and budgets at a level normally acquired through completion of a Masters Degree from an approved School of Nursing, Allied Health, Business, Management or Social Work.

Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.

Five to seven years management experience in a surgical services setting.

Demonstrates effective communication skills and promotes open communication on all levels.
