Hours: Tuesday - Friday 9:00am-5:30pm and Saturday 8:00am-4:30pm

This position is responsible for helping end-users who are having any computer related hardware or software problem for Froedtert Community Health's Information Systems. Problems may be related to personal computing hardware, MS Windows desktop operating systems, MS Office products, miscellaneous client access software and a variety of other software programs. This position may also have responsibility for responding to questions regarding the functionality, performance and availability of business applications running on the hospitals' network. Will work closely with Manager to ensure that the Help Desk function delivers at a service level consistent with the expectations of the hospitals' end-users. Position works to improve or maintain a high level of Help Desk performance through the use of generally accepted IS best practices.

Associate's degree in computer science, or related technology field preferred or acquired through combination of education and experience.
Requires one or more years of relevant Help Desk and customer service experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Outstanding telephone and customer service skills.
Solid knowledge and skill in PC hardware and software technologies.
Solid knowledge and skill of DOS and all Windows desktop operating systems.
Outstanding computer skills utilizing and supporting MS Office and MS Exchange/Outlook.
Ability to troubleshoot and logically solve problems.
Must have good interpersonal skills in communications with all levels of hospital and IS personnel.
Must be able to train others quickly and thoroughly on key IS concepts.
