On Call?:

Implements the hospital's Credit and Collection Policy in a professional, courteous and progressive manner that optimizes patient account management with customer service and patient care. Primarily responsible for working with patients of the Reproductive Medicine Clinic (RMC). Works closely with the RMC Staff, Admitting/Registration, the Medical College Billing Department, Medical College Physicians, and Patient Financial Services to address situations where the hospital has potential or existing patient account financial exposure.

Essential Functions include:

Identify and resolves problems that patients of the Reproductive Medicine Clinic have with their patient accounts and/or payments.

College degree preferred or high school diploma (equivalent) with equivalent work experience. 3 years of progressive customer service experience or 2-3 years of hospital patient accounting experience as a financial counselor, collector, registrar, or customer service related capacity preferred.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience with computerized patient accounting systems and eligibility systems. Excellent organizational skills and commitment to detail 1 year experience billing of medical care/service (or general office experience).
