Job: Printing Press Operator

Our client in New Berlin is looking for someone to operate and maintain the Webtron 1600 and AquaFlex LX 18 Flexographic printing press.


Responsibilities:
- Has knowledge of and maintains water-based printing inks during operation
- Troubleshoot printing process problems
- Responsible for detail and quality of finished product
- Efficiently set up the different components of product line
- Has knowledge of the plate mounting process
- Differentiate between substrates used in the printing process
- Troubleshoot tool and die problems
- Perform maintenance and minor repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment
(ensuring the press area is free of debris, the press is free of excess ink, oil and grease, and all tooling is placed in the proper storage area)


Requirements:
- Experience with the Webtron 1600 and the AquaFlex LX 18
- Must have a minimum of 3 years using flexographic printing
- Able to lift 75 pounds
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to quickly solve problems
