Position Description

Argus Technical Services is seeking an Electrical Systems Automation Project Engineer for a direct hire position with a client in Milwaukee, WI.
This individual will commit the majority of their time for in-house development, engineering and testing of control system functionality. This person will be responsible for the development of control functional solutions for customer specific requirements. This individual must also have the ability to organize and conduct customer project meetings to define and document system functionality, scope of supply, system delivery requirements, testing and field installation, and commissioning scheduling. This person will also select suitable system hardware such as PLC, Transducers and Operator interface equipment. This individual will design project specific control panels, operator desk and design field wiring schematics. This person will write machine logic PLC ladder using Allen Bradley/Rockwell and Siemens S7 platforms. This person will develop Operator HMI and MMI Screens for customer specific requirements. This individual will also utilize control network techniques using buss technology such as Rockwell Controlnet, Siemens Profibus, Ethernet and client-server database connectivity. This person will be responsible for the management of project purchases to technical requirements, quality and delivery requirements as well as applicable sub-contracting services required for assigned projects. This individual will be responsible for the management of projects timeline scheduling to attain committed deliveries. This person will also be responsible for the management of projects to cost and project profitability objectives. 30-35% of the time this individual will be required to be in the field focusing on Start-up Commissioning of Controls Systems for the projects they have engineered and tested, and for on demand customer service support. This uniquely diverse and talented professional will be required to communicate and keep a keen eye on customer applications and will work directly with customers to maximize engineering services and assure that customer projects are accurately designed, manufactured and delivered.
