Job: Construction Coordinator

Support the development and administration of Construction Services. Act as technical and business expert for established Kohl's construction procurement vendors and contractors. Manage vendor coordination and installations with general contractors. Update and maintain Kohl's vendor website.

Primary Responsibilities

Vendor Management and Support

• Vendor Management - Day to day vendor coordination for new stores and remodels.
  
• Vendor Support - Help vendors with plans, takeoffs and Service Channel Resolution.
  
• Corporate Partner Coordination - Coordinate purchase orders and cost tracking with Purchasing. Coordinate delivery of products through Kohl's Logistics.
  
• General Contractor Support & Coordination - Provide Service Channel Resolution between vendor and general contractors. Coordinate deliveries between vendor and general contractors.
  

General Support

• Financial Cost Tracking - Review materials costs and projections with manager and report monthly forecasts to Finance
  
• Review and Validate Vendor Quotes - Receive vendor quotes and validate costs compared to contractual prices.
  
• Service Channel Resolutions - monitor vendor issues on service channel and ensure responses are made within 24-hours by all vendors.
  
• Review and Validate Change Requests to Purchase Orders - review and process all change requests for vendors.
  

Required Qualifications:

• 4-year degree (Bachelor of Science)
  
• Previous project management experience
  
• Strong Computer Skills (Excel, MS Word)
  
• Strong Written/Verbal Communication Skills
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Construction Experience
  
• Multiple years of Consttruction Project Management Experience
