The Systems Analyst with supervision uses defined methodology in a team environment perform system life cycle tasks. These tasks include planning system analysis design application building testing maintenance and support and completing special project work.

Knowledge of computer principles at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other closely related field in order to be able to perform system lifecycle tasks. Two years related work experience.

2-5 years of experience as a clinical laboratory technologist and/or laboratory information system (LIS) analyst or administrator, 1-3 years of experience with Epic, Cerner, and/or Sunquest preferred; practical working knowledge of clinical laboratory policies, procedures, information systems, and customer interactions; and excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze large data sets preferred.
