Responsible for the day-to-day technical support of the various Radiology Informatics systems and equipment including build, configuration, information workflow, archiving, integration, error recovery, and other related activities. Works closely with the Informatics vendors and IS team to coordinate all maintenance and support activities related to the Radiology Informatics systems operation, maintenance, and upgrades.

The position requires two or more years of related experience in radiology operations and/or health care systems management in a comparably sized hospital setting or a significant amount of experience in computers and networking. A minimum of an Associates Degree in a Technical discipline, Bachelors or Masters Degree preferred. Strong information technology background with an emphasis in system administration and networking in Windows and Unix environments. Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills. Excellent written/oral communication skills required. Must be able to work effectively with diverse group of people. Solid understanding of desktop operating systems software (i.e. Windows 95/98/2000/ME/NT/XP) and Web browser use (Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator) required; familiarity with specific radiology information systems applications preferred.
