Position Description

*previous medical equipment experience

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide variety of technical duties to troubleshoot and repair electronic, computer based and/or mechanical products in-house or at customer locations.

Set up, adjust and operate test equipment to determine the nature of problem; replace any necessary components, modules, circuit boards or software to repair the device.

Troubleshoot printed circuit boards and units to component level.

Perform mechanical repairs of equipment in conjunction with electronic repairs.

Complete service repair records for all repairs including updating service history/tracking database.

Perform on-site customer visits for installation/in-service of equipment or service as needed.

May be required to perform biomedical training either in-house or at customer location.

Perform calibration/maintenance on specialized test fixtures and gauges as defined in equipment maintenance records

Write and draft test fixture documentation, including Schematics, BOM-s,

Calibration/Maintenance procedures, Verification documents and Service manuals.

Requirements:
Requirements for this position include at least a 2 year degree in electronics, IT or computers, as well as excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Two to three years of related experience is desirable.
