Job: Coordinator PT - IDEAL Charter School 103009

-Daily supervision of students after school in collaboration with the IDEAL Charter School staff.
-Work with the Lead Teachers to plan and facilitate activities for youth after school.
-Ensure program outcomes are achieved by directing all aspects of the program curriculum.
-Set up for and clean up after program activities.
-Assist with check in and out of youth involved in the program.
-Work to foster positive relationships with parents.
-Follow safety procedures as set forth by IDEAL Charter School and the YMCA.

-Must be at least 18 years of age with documentation of high school diploma/equivalent along with a minimum of 1 year experience coordinating youth activities.
-Requires certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
-Must be able to effectively interact with a diverse population.
-Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs and complete room set up and clean up.
-Good decision-making skills, ability to adapt the program as the situation requires.
-Hours of position are 3pm - 6 pm 3-4 days per week.
