Job: Pharmacist - Inpatient

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the pharmacist is responsible for the daily operations of the Department of Pharmacy. Primary responsibilities: prescription evaluation and order entry, application of principles of pharmaceutical care, supervision of intravenous admixture service including total parenteral nutrition and oncolytic chemotherapy, drug distribution, data collection of Drug Use Evaluation information, pharmacokinetic interaction and calculation, and evaluation and organization of drug information materials. This is a part-time position working 20 hours/week on various shifts. The shifts are predominantly 8 hour shifts, with most shifts being 1st or 2nd shift. Weekend rotation is required.

Position Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Licensed by the State Board. Strong clinical background preferred, with some experience in drug use evaluation. Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other colleagues Good oral/written communication skills. Knowledge and application of clinical pharmaceutical services desired. Ability to perform well in high stress situations. High concentration level. Hospital pharmacy experience desirable.
