The Clinical Nurse Specialist is an expert in theory and research based nursing practice that influences patient/client outcomes through direct and indirect clinical practice, education, research, consultation and leadership. Requires a Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing, current license to practice nursing in the State of Wisconsin. Certification within clinical specialty area. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Familiarity with nursing computer systems and PCs or demonstrates ability to learn is necessary.
