Job Title Dietetic Technician Building Code SL - Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center Address 2900 W Oklahoma Ave City Milwaukee # Hours Per Pay Period (Bi-weekly) 80 Schedule 10:30am - 8:30pm Req # (optional) 64679BR Explore a Career In Food Management Job Description Assumes leadership responsibilities as department needs dictate. Monitors Diet Office activities and ensures quality standards of foods served on all diets. Performs patient visitation, meal rounds and test tray evaluations. Provides nutrition related in-services to Food Management staff. Maintains working knowledge of approved Diet Manual current policies and procedures and all regulations from JCAHO and State Federal agencies. Skills / Requirements
General Qualifications
Associate Degree in Dietetics from an accredited educational institute and completed a Dietetic Technician Program as accredited by The Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of The American Dietetic Association (ADA). Current and successful completion of the ADA Registration Examination or registration eligibility with successful completion within the first six months of hire OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institute and completed current academic requirements (Dietetic Program in Dietetics) as accredited by CADE. Minimum of two years related work experience preferred. Working knowledge of general and modified diets. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
