Position Summary:

The Clinical Services Manager coordinates various disciplines and leads the development of all aspects of the Child/Adolescent inpatient unit. He/she presents a consistent, therapeutic program on a daily basis. He/She is responsible for the overall management of assigned treatment programs and human resource functions twenty-four (24) hours a day, including assessing staff performance, scheduling, performance improvement and treatment planning. The Clinical Services manager performs activities in the continuity of care for patients so they may achieve or regain, and then maintain, maximum physical, emotional or social functions. He/She will also assist with coordination of care with our residential child center to achieve a smooth transition to and from that level of care. This position has global responsibilities for participating in the management and leadership of the hospital. Additional responsibilities of the position include: Facilitating the clinical program conceptualization with medical director(s) and other department managers. Establishing goals for the Child/Adolescent inpatient unit that are consistent with the goals and mission of the Hospital. Effectively hire and train employeesand continuously strive to provide high quality care in a cost effective way by monitoring average daily census and department budget.

Skills / Requirements
Requirements: 1. Passion for behavioral healthcare.
2. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Other disciplines will be considered.
3. Applicable license/certification in area of focus is required
4. Successful staff management and communication skills.
5. A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a supervisory/management role.
6. C linical experience in mental health. Ability to communicate with medical staff to promote positive relations and to provide quality services
